AST 2 Course a Great Success!
Just finished our first AST 2 course for the season in Revelstoke. We rode Frisby Ridge, Boulder Mountain, Eagle Pass and Mt. Hall! We had an awesome group, were treated like gold by our friends at Glacier House Resort and SLEDRENT and even found some good snow to tear up! We have a couple more of these courses available this season if you or anyone you know are interested!
Bit of a pull on our way back from Turbo Hill!
Building on our snowpack observation and interpretation skills at Eagle Pass – we utilized a variety of tests to assess the propagation potential of the January 16 surface hoar layer.
Assessing terrain route options at Eagle Pass.
Companion Rescue Practice in Eagle Pass – each day we increased the complexity of the rescue scenarios.
Conditions improved throughout the day on Mt. Hall & no bullet proof crust!
